Carolina’s Restaurant at the Clarion Hotel Downtown, Columbia, SC, serves up the best of southern cuisine in a charming and inviting atmosphere. Our restaurant is a favorite among locals for a great morning breakfast, our famous lunch buffet that includes fresh pasta and delicious carving stations, and nightly dinner specials.  On Sunday, no one does a Brunch Buffet like the Clarion Hotel Downtown with our omelet and waffle stations, fresh salads, hearty meats, seafood and tempting desserts.

Don’t want to leave the comfort of your plush guest room? Then enjoy Room Service at all three mealtimes available during normal restaurant hours of operation.

Breakfast/Buffet: 6:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Daily
Sunday Brunch: 11:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Lunch/Buffet: 11:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Daily
Dinner: 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. Daily*

*Sunday – Closed for Dinner

Every day, our chefs prepare tasty, traditional Southern cooking for our weekday lunch buffet.  From homemade soups and bisques to salads, fresh vegetables and creative entrees, to made-to-order pasta, daily carved meats and the sweetest Southern iced tea in town.   Carolina’s at the Clarion Hotel Downtown is known locally as the place to be for lunch.  If Buffets are not your style, burgers, homemade sandwiches, healthy salads and desserts are available from our menu as well.

Whether you are looking to unwind after a long hard day, enjoy a nightcap after being out-on-the town or simply wanting a drink and appetizer, Carolina’s Lounge offers the perfect relaxing atmosphere to meet co-workers and friends or just to watch the big game. Our lounge offers top-shelf premium liquors, imported, domestic and micro-brewed beers or your favorite glass of wine from our extensive wine list.

Stop by to enjoy “Happy Hour” drink specials Monday through Saturday and complimentary hors d’oeuvres Monday through Thursday.  Carolina’s Lounge opens at 5:00pm.
